What are some features to look for to tell the difference between L066 and L333?

Mature adults of L333 is more compact in their body and L66 is more elongated, the fin patterna in the caudal fin...L333 wider dark bands then L66 more narrow, the overall colouration but all this three together makes it easier.

So, I am guessing that fry, juvies, or even young adults are more difficult to tell apart?

Yes, until they are reasonably mature, the fish can look quite different from that mature specimens, and differnet species will change to a different extent (some are so diferent that you can't even recognise the young from the parents - others look identical "miniature copies of the parents". Take a look at the juvenile of this
, and compare to the mature ones! That is of course a rather extreme example).
