My camera just died, but as soon as I get batteries I'll post it. I think I need a bit more plants though and I'll probably be adding much more wood, all the fish seem to enjoy it!

I posted a few pictures in this thread, but it doesn't look like that any more, I had to do some changes. I'll be also adding sand soon: http://planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopi ... =4&t=23766

I could be wrong, cute little guy by the way, but I am thinking it's not a wood in there that they can rasp on? It looks like some type of bamboo but I could be wrong.

Could they rasp on that? Or would it harbour the good stuff ever like softer wood does? Just wondering.

Since Pterygoplichthys are not wood-eaters, it does not really matter.

But most plecos will do some cleaning of wood, where the wood is deteriorating in the water.

Nope it's wood! It's branches from my yard, and we don't have bamboo in our yard/driveway :D

Yup, I got it in branches, cut it in smaller pieces, boiled it for a few hours, then left it in a bucket for 1-2 days, I took off the bark with a knife, boiled it again and put it in the over for 45 minutes. It floated, now it doesn't anymore!!!
