Hi all

Can anyone identify this cory or is it really undescribed? There were being sold as an undescribed species with no c-numbers. Thanks in advance.

It looks most like C simulatus to me, but wait until one of the cory experts come along for an opinion.

Any idea how to differentiate the sex? Male having a black dorsal fin (3rd pic) while female do not have the black coloration on the dorsal fin?

Hi. I really don't think so. - Frank

It is usually harder to sex the long bodied corys, but a ripe female will be a little deeper bodied and slightly wider.

Could it be a Corydoras septentrionalis as well. Looks very similiar too.
