You can post pictures in two ways:

[img]http://www.something.com/somepath/mypicture.jpg[/img]
if your picture is already somehwere on the web that others can freely see (note that some forums do not allow you to link to their pictures).
Or you can use the "upload attachment", to attach an image you have on your computer to the existing post.
