Re: Please find out what i am
I think that a better, more clear pic is needed to ID this pl*co. There are so many that look so similar that you really need to be able to see all the details. We all appeciate that it is difficult to take decent pics of moving things behind glass but this could be ID'd as about five different species.

I am pretty sure it's not L2 or L134, in fact the head shape sort of rules out all for me. It's a young fish but looks also a bit like .

Re: Please find out what i am
The patterning and coloring remind me of a L199, but it would be nice to see a better shot of the head to make sure.

Hi Pureplecs
You won't beleave the agro i have had to get this shot of the head its taken off a sony vid I had then run on Nero player then capture the shot.then took pic with camara off computer screen(as you canot get it from clipboard) resized, downloaded to photobucket then posted !(Take a deep breath )
I hope it does the trick .Must admit it was fun to sort out and do and if anyone reads this might give them a tip to get single shot from a vid if they know what I'm on about

Re: Please find out what i am
I agree from this angle and coloring/lighting... It does not look as much like a L199, but it appears the picture has been edited to lighten it up or something so I really am not convinced enough to give opinion either way. Though Dr. Gold presents a very fair observation.

Re: Please find out what i am
Hi big thanks for your help everybody and to take the time to point out the difference in the eye size and location of the L199 and the L207 I woud not have known that, I was sort of covinced it was L199 but after taking into account what you have pointed out to me I can see it now!. Much apreciated
Thanks Jerry

Hi!!
They look rather small... around 4cm??
At that size they can be anything... I have seen juvies L333 and L401 looking exactly like yours at this size!!!
Cheers
