In the Cat-e-log it lists L201 as hypancistrus contradens, but L-Welse
http://translate.google.ch/translate?u= ... e&ie=UTF-8 lists them as two separate hypancistrus?

I moved this to the "Site suggestions and bugs" rather than the resolved forum.
I have no idea of whether it's correct to say that L201 is a different species or not. The come from near-enough the same place.

Hi, I noticed the same thing in the new Back to Nature Guide to L-catfishes by Ingo Seidel. He states that H. contradens and L201 are different species, with H. contradens attaining a larger size, having larger lighter spotting, longer head and a broader higher body form.
As an aside, has anyone noticed how similar the picture of L307 from Aqualog All L-numbers book is to the pictures of L401 from the cat-elog?

No longer listed as the same species, so moved to Resolved.
