So if I understand correctly (see thread: Ending of names), this one should keep its old name - leopardus - as well? At least, for the time being.

Hi Marc
I have followed Ferraris and used it as leoparda, but mainly out of respect as I did not check it out for myself. However, which endings you use will depend on if you agree that 'odontis' is masculine or feminine.
