Hi.. is arrive one new species in my acquarium
Hoplosternum thoracatum (first time that i have)
albifron(new one )
aniway for the Hoplosternum thoracatum someone can give some info?i don't had never before...you think that is soo small or not(1-2 cm)today is all day that i can't see him (maybe is stress and is hiding)but very soon the picture

is the Cat-eLog page - from memory it's pretty well filled - if you still have questions, please feel free to ask.
Mine was hiding when I first put them in the tank. Now they are out and about all the time (and almost 3x longer at a good 8-9cm SL, at least 10x more weight).

Yes. I have only ever seen a single specimen once in the last few years. I've seen at least 6 different shops have several M. thoracata [although, as usual, not necessarily named correctly].aledk85 wrote:why? picta is more rare?
