Are my water params okay for L066?

I have a few tanks which could house some L066. My water params are PH is 7.6, Alk is 70 mg/L, Hardness is 80 mg/L.

I have a 90 gallon planted with livebearers, rummynose tetras, spixi snails, and currently a male and female BN pleco, filtration is a AC 110 and a XP3. A 33 gallon bare bottom tank with a AC 70, java moss, guppies. A 55 gallon bare bottom grow out tank with two Hydro V sponge filters (currently has some BN fry in there). A vacant 20 gallon.

Is my water fine for the king tigers and which tank would best suit them? I can get some unsexed juvies, price is getting up there but what would be the best number to get?

pH seems a bit on the high side. 150 ppm TDS isn't very bad. I'm sure they are fine in those conditions tho', as they are fairly adaptable. But the ideal conditions are slightly lower pH, around pH 6.0 or so.

They will be fine at those parameters, but what is far more important is temperature.

The L066, like most Hypancistrus should be kept at 27C or higher, in line with their habitat in the wild.

I keep my L-66 in Gh 3
Kh 3
Ph 7
28-29 celcius
And they seem to like it that way,they give me 20-30 fry every month

IMO, far too many people try to match a much more specific pH value than the fish worry about. They can adapt to parameters below a pH of 8 pretty easily and will readily spawn when kept there, with viable fry. That tells me that they are comfortable in those conditions. I've personally lost Hypancistrus from crashing the pH in a tank that was getting heavy rainy seasons but I've never killed a single one from pH shock going into my water. I just keep in mind that ammonia is much more toxic and overfilter along with lots of water changes.

Thank you to you all for the replies. I feel better, I didn't really want to start fiddling around with the PH. I guess the main thing is when getting them to acclimate slowly? I believe they are in a PH of 7, so will be a jump up of .6 to my water params.
