Stocking my tank

Post by buz »

:) Hi everyone.
Well I have a aqua-one tank.
Unsure of the water volume but its sadly taller than wider/longer. Perfect for discus but don’t really want them.
At the moment I am running these filters on it.

Aquaone 650 External (filled with Sera media)
2 x Fluval 4 Internals
1x Uni UV internal
What I want to do it get rid of them and either get a FX5 or a Eheim professionel 3
Will decide that at a later date when i get more opinions on the filters.
I want to add small plecos that grow into monsters over years, and a few smaller ones for show.

What I have in the tank at this moment is a
L018
L047

This is what I have ordered.
L025
L128 (wanted the L200 but I couldn’t find them :()

This is what I want to add other the next few months.
L27 (c if possible)
L014
L190
L204
(This if these fish are available and in NZ when they appear on the list, which is very slow)
This tank will be a display tank: Bare bottom/Bog Wood
What do you think?

What size is your tank?
If you get the measurements, and look on the Practical Fishkeeping magazine site, (google it), they have a tool that works out your tanks volume.
