Panaque Maccus or any other ideas?

I've had these fish for a year. But I'm still not sure about the identification. It looks like Panauqe Maccus, but the wavy lines on the head looks like Peckoltia Braueri. Here's the picture;

I could only took their picture like this. They're always hiding(even at night). And what's the right way to breed these plecos?
Thanks.

Looks like a nice group of P. maccus to me. Got both males and females present, so a basic start for breeding them.

Or
. In either case make sure they have wood in their tank. It's an essential part of their diet.
Breeding will be the same:

Yes, it could be LDA68 - it's hard to distinguish them - until someone comes out with a scientific description [which hopefully clarifies it, rather than saying that some internal bone in the back of the head is sufficiently different to make it a different species - that makes identification so much harder].
As stated, they do need wood, and are hardy, tolerant and easy to keep fishes - just as long as you accept that they chew on wood and produce a large amount of "sawdust" because of this.
