What else to feed?
I have two BNs - one Rio Ucayali and one Albino Sp.3. They're about 3" and 1 1/2" respectively.
I feed them Hikari sinking wafers, zucchini and cucumber. Once in awhile I stick a few bloodworms in the zucchini slices. I tried peeled broccoli stems, but neither would touch it.
What other veggies can I give? Should I blanch these veggies first? Things like string beans have such a tough skin I can't imagine they could easily be eaten.
What about fruit? I want my fish to have a good diet.

Re: What else to feed?
You cold try scalded cabbage leaves, lettuce, cooked green (french/dwarf) beans, cooked peas, seaweed sheets (for aquarium use), slices of raw potato. if you have something in mind, why not give it a try, but obviously watch carefully. I use cooked brocolli which my synos eat & have tried loads of different stuff, with some success & some failures
