Is this really a Flash Peckoltia?

Hi,

I bought this fish today, it is about one inch long, and was labelled 'Flash Peckoltia'. After looking through the cat-eLog, it looks more like an L204 to me. What do you think?

Thanks :)

Exporters often use the name Flash Peckoltia for the Panaque sp. L-204. I would say this it Panaque sp. L-204

I would agree with , but some species change quite a bit from small to larger sizes, so don't be entirely surprised if it starts looking different at larger size.

Looks like a juvenile Panaque species, L204. Be sure it has wood to munch on. I am trying to breed these handsome dwarf Plecos.

Yep its an L204. I've got five of these. They love wood but do create a hell of a mess.

Thanks everyone for your replies.

He hides in the tangle of bog-wood, and I haven't seen him come out yet - but he's still new and getting used to his surroundings. I always have courgette in my tank for my other plecs, hopefully when he's comfortable he'll enjoy eating that too.
