Could someone pls ID these Corys i have.

I got them from my LFS they had been traded in the morning and the guys there didnt even know what they were i liked the look of them so got them .
There is 5 in all.

The pic isnt that great the top fin is long and the tail fins are long aswell exactly like a B/nose longfin.

Looks like a long fin variety of .

Most fish CAN be bred into a long fin variety.

OK then thx Mats for your time but does it have a specific name oc C number...... or are these a hybrid or crossbreed if so im not gunna be happy

Hi Adam

It is a commercially line bred form of C aeneus to give longer fins, much in the same way as longfin danios, barbs and tetras. There are also longfin cichlids. You can also get longfin C paleatus as well. C aeneus are not found with fins like those in the wild.
