Could I add a Royal pleco?

Post by bushynose_cory »

Hi, I was just wondering if I could keep a single Royal pleco(As I know they aren't schoolers) in my 72 gallon hardwater(PH8) tank. I have a few questions;

The pleco(If I get one) will be a wild-caught juvie. Would it adjust to my hard water?
I have a single ancistrus sp.3 pleco in the smae tank. Would they be okay together or fight?
I have two large pieces of anibias-attached wood in the tank. Would that satisfy it? Or should I add a special cave for it?

I don't think feeding or tankmates would be too much of a problem as I can use either frozen, thawed spinach or sinking pleco wafers as food, and tankmates(Other than the pleco), I am sure.
