Hi everyone, today I will recieve a 100g tank I have order
, what i want to do with this tank would be an Orinoco biotope, so i'm wandering what I need in order to make the perfect biotope tank?
.
I would like to Know the sand color(I think is red),ph, plants species, fish species, etc.
And a last question in order to make it look more natural what will be a better decoration a mix of driftwood and rocks or only rocks(or only driftwood).
Thanks
....excuse my english(not my native languaje)

First I would decide what fish species you want to keep. This would make it easier to decide what kind of habitat you want to recreate.

I was thinking about L-128 and panaque species
, plus 2 black ghost knife.(thats the fishes i got)

The
Panaque and the knife fish will appreciate dense wood structure, while the L128 will enjoy large head-sized granite stones. The two habitat types can easily be combined in that nice 100g tank

I was pleased to see that you chose to include some Copella species. Looked to me like Copella guttata. I have kept and bred many of the species in the genus but nearly all were found as bycatch amongst the different Pencilfish shipments. They are not generally easy to find. One I haven't bred is the big C. guttata. I have only worked with the smaller species but I have kept C. guttata. A monster of a Copella.
