Hello-When setting up my tank this spring I went looking for new fish. I wanted to get a posse of cories. I found a fish called Emerald cory catfish. They were the only goodsized cory cats I could find. Upon further research on internet I found a couple of opinions that these cats weren't of the corydoras species. Are they or are they not corydoras? And how long can these cats live? THANX-Bigdan :?: :?:

These aren't <i>Corydoras</i>. They are <i>Brochis</i> (usually <i>B. splendens</i>), and the easiest way to tell them apart is to look at the dorsal fin (<i>Brochis</i> has a longer dorsal fin with more fin rays).
<i>Brochis</i> also grows to larger sizes than <i>Corydoras</i>.
