RE:Corydoras hastatus I am looking for very small cory that are colorful and active. Can you tell me about Corydoras hastatus behavior. Are they shy?

They are shy but they are often out and about schooling but when they detect your shadow they will seek refuge. I breed and raise both C. hastatus and C. habrosus.
They like Grindal worms best of all and live brine shrimp nauplii. Microworms are also eaten by the adults.
Other foods like Hikari catfish or carnivore tablets are accepted. I have never found any fish that care for frozen Daphnia. Frozen Cyclop-Eeze by Argent Labs is taken well but the Freeze Dried product is not as well accepted.
