Beautiful colorful cory

Post by slichlid »

Hello!

I was trolling through aquabid, looking at S. jurupari, when I noticed a really colorful corydoras-looking catfish at the bottom of the picture:

I hope the link will work - it's not my pic, so I didn't want to lift it.

I'd love to know what they are!

Thanks for looking.

I agree c. sterbai are very colorful corydoras. I am not sure if everyone of them colors up...or if individuals vary. There was a very nice one shown at AquaFest 2007, I bought a group of 5 at the AquaFest auction. Wish I could find a miniature cory that colorful.

Really! I'd never seen one with that much color (green in the body, and the eyes look very red, at least in the photo). Interesting to hear that there may be individual differences in which one color up. Marge, sounds like you've seen one with that much color at aquafest. I'll keep my eyes out for them now.

Thanks!
