Butis Butis aquarium

Hello
I am planning on making a 128 liters aquarium, with the fish Butis Butis.
http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/Oddball ... 20Fish.htm
It is a brackish fish, but can live in fresh water with no problems.
So, my question, wich catfishes, comes from the same area, Indo-Pacific area and Australia, and can survive some salt in the water?
I will not make the aquarium brackish, but freshwater. But sometimes, I will put some salt in, to change the gravity.
Thanks in advance, Christian

200mm? You don't think that is to big for a 128 liter tank? it is only 80x40x40 cm.

Butis Butis are commonly found in habitats that contain Neo. glencoensis, Neo.rendahl & Neo. Atter.

Hmm. Are those species readily available? Plus I'd bet an Arius would not be suitable. Too big. They'll also need seawater when adult. (if you wanna make em happy!) ![Neutral :|](./images/smilies/icon/neutral.gif)

Hmm. I can't find these species in the cat-elog?
Can you give more info?

Can you come with any good catfish then?

Presumably "Neo." refers to Neosilurus, which leads to:
Neosilurus rendahl(i) is listed as
- but a junior synonym is
N. rendahli.
N. glencoensis is a synonym of
.
And
N. atter] presumable refers to

Thank you very much.
But, the smallest catfish so far, in this thread, is 200mm. I think that is to much, for a 128 liter tank?

Probably on the larger side, yes. Unfortunately, I have no solution to that problem, as my knowledge of south pacific catfish is pretty poor.
