Are there any reports of these two species being hybridized? I have interest in doing so in my research.

I am not aware that this has occurred either naturally or by man made attempts - hybrids are generally very scarce in nature, occur seldom in the confines of an aquarium & man made hybrids generally involve mixing species to create something "new"in a visual sense or replicate something using "cheaper ingredients" which give greater return - so multi x lucipinnis would be unlikely as they are both similar so would produce a similar offspring & both are small in terms of brood size.
Obviously some fish hybridize easier than others but cats in general are not any of these without man's interference!

I don't think this could be achieved without uing hormones as the 2 species are not really that similar in their breeding: adult size, methods etc
