6" breedable catfish?

6" breedable catfish?
Are their any catfish besides plecos or cories out their that are about 5-6" and can be bred in a 55g for a beginner at catfish?

Good suggestion, Hoplo's, should be relatively easy to breed, easy to care for (the live in the most horrid environment in nature, so as long as they get food once in a while [not difficult either], they should be fine).

another suggestion is a "pleco", sort of, but breeding is also possible and these fish are great lookers, day-active and always in demand.
you're not going to end up with unsellable fish. Hoplo's might turn out unwanted (i remember getting stuck with over a hundred Hoplosternum punctatum), but Sturi's are highly popular.
