Hello,
I found a pet store that is carrying four San Juan Cories (which I've heard are rare, which shows in their $13.99 each price tag)and I may be planning on getting them.
Anyone here have personal experiences with them? Like are they sensitive? Easy to breed? ect.
Thanks

The first thing is they are not rare, well not here in the UK. The belong to the elegans group and as far as I know have not been captive bred.

San Juan Corydoras are usually among the least expensive of the wild caught Corydoras. $1.99 is not unusual.

The "San Juan Corys" we see in Denamrk are usually very similar to C. napoensis and tagged 6 for what is equal to £ 10, so fairly cheap. nice looking though

Greetings. This is the fish that is most commonly labeled as "San Juan" - I believe. - Frank
