Is this Synodontis congicus, S. nummifer, or some hybrid?

Hi!
Length (TL) is exactly 20cm. Company is S. notatus, S. eupterus, S. alberti and S. ocellifer. Tank is 450 l. Fish has not been probably eaten well, as being quite low in hierarchy in the previous tank.
I'm really confused with this one.

I think this is S. nummifer.

Hate to jump on the hybrid bandwagon but I think it is a hybrid. Too big to be a congicus. Don't think it's a nummifer because at that size should only be a few large spots on the side of the body. Also the humeral process seems way too pronounced. But the patterned caudal does fit nummifer description. Lee Finley are you out there?

I love arguing with myself. The more I look the more I think Silurus is probably correct. The adipose fin matches up well with nummifer. On malnourished Synos the humeral process is more obvious. This is probably a nummifer who has been underfed for way too long.

Hi all.
For what it is worth I agree with Silurus and Tom answer number two - S. nummifer.

Oh my...
S. nummifer is quite rare in here Finland. Still, I do not come up with any other conclusion than that species. I think this one is quite old. Every year is a bonus from now on.
