Here's a better image. I'm still thinking L024 because of the reddish colouration. (It doesn't stand out in the pic because the water is full of bogwood tannins).

The English Aqualog refers to L024 as Pseudacanthicus serratus. However, the Cat-eLog doesn't, so my question is whether P. serratus is a legitimate species, given that Aqualog is often wrong.

An I.D. on the pleco at the bottom of the pic it would be welcome. It was sold as a Snakeskin pleco. I think it's a Hypostomus but I don't know which species.

Yours does appear quite flat in the photo, but thats probably the angle.

P. serratus is a valid species, but it comes from Surinam.

P. serratus may well be very similar to the L024 from the Tocatins, but its probably best to stick to L024 as a name.

The (L063) is also from the Tocatins, but seems to be a more dark grey in colour.

Both L063 and L024 are probably both similar enough to be called P. cf. serratus, but its more descriptive to refer to the L numbers I think.
