They are both hybrids.

Photo 2 is without doubt a hybrid

photo 1 also looks like one!

Hi Oliver,
The difference between picture 1(*) and the pictures of your fishes is that the first has a distinct black patch in the dorsal which lacks on the specimen you are referring to. Or is that the reason why you specifically use the word "male"?
