Cat fish enthusiast from Norway

Post by Ivar.Andreassen »

Hello everyone

I have been with the aquarium hobby for some time, but have had a break for 5-6 years. Now that I got a new and much bigger hous (with room for many aquariums), I am chasing the dream of setting up many fish tanks with cat fish ("suck moths" are my favorite).

I am planning to set up many new aquariums for breeding around december 2007, and I am now in the planning process. If you want to help, please help me with this:

1 - Can anyone please give me the name of the best book(s) for study of the cat fish ("Suck mouths" is the primary subject for me..)

2 - What type of cat fish do you recommend I start out with (for breeding)

3 - Please let me learn from your mistakes, and tell me what to NOT do and what to do.

Thanks

Hello & welcome to PC.
With regard to your first question: Wels Atlas 1 and 2 seem very appropriate for you.
For a review: upper toolbar; click Books; click whole list; left row near the bottom.
Wels Atlas 1 has been translated into English; WA2 sofar only available in German.
