l134 and l046 questions

Post by ausfish »

hi can anyone help me with a few questions about l134s and l046 plecs.

how long does it take for them to get from eggs to adult breeding age and size?

also can they grow up in the same tank together, i was thinking 10 l134 and 5 l046 in a 4x2x2.

also how many fry can they produce in a spawn and how often can they breed.

any help would be really appreciated thanks.

You shouldn't keep them together. I find that the L134 are more agressive than than the L046. They will take up better caves and hiding spots and leave the L046 with the less attractable ones. And making the zebra feel safe is one of the keys to zebra pleco breeding.
