How do I pay and sign up before Mr. Rinaldo there? I'm definitely going! Don't tell the hubby please, I'm sure it will take some convincing, hehe.

Dave,
We'll keep the beer cold for you.
Barbie,
Just tell him it's a business trip to cherry pick Julie's fish room. And to make sure Dave's beer is cold.

I was really sore to miss the last one, but I will certainly be at this one for obvious reasons!

Would it be too soon for Julie and I to check into being officially "Hospitality 2 (Too)"?

I'm just coming for the beer & pizza. Everything's half price in the states for us right now.
Jools
PS I really am kidding, the last one was great and this one sounds even better.

Barbie, the party will follow you and Julie no matter what we do...
Ian, we'll see you in Barbie and Julie's room. Again.
Jools, pizza and beer you can find easily enough. Just follow Ian.

Barbie, I sure hope that I don't have to make the trip to the Poconos next year again!!! That made my trip less than fun... and was sooo hard to kick everyone out at 3am so I could catch a little sleep
But I do remember our room being the most fun room at night... and usually the last to close!
Really looking forward to meeting the people I haven't had a chance to meet yet. Last year was so awesome to meet Ian in person finally, along with many others like Dave *waves* and re-meet Paul whom I'd already met at a previous OCA. And Frank... and Stephan... and Adrian... and Jason, and soo many others!!
Andrew,
I thought I heard you say at the end of it all last year.. "no, no... never again!!!" as you went screaming down the corridor

Paul and Stephan, glad to hear the Midwest contingent checking in! We'll look forward to seeing both of you.
We appreciate that all of the speakers we invited so far are willing to come, Hans, Ingo and Jools especially since they'll be traveling the farthest to join us for the weekend.

All-Aquarium Catfish Convention 2008
October 16-19, 2008, Laurel, Maryland
I want to let everyone know that I and my wife will be there in 2008. We enjoyed spending time with Ian, Adrian, Emily, Andrew, Barbie, Julie, Pat and anyone that I forgot. We enjoy this event because it is very handicap friendly. I want to thank the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society and the Holiday Inn staff for making the All-Aquarium Catfish Convention 2006 such a great success. We enjoyed all of the great speakers from all over the world. I love hearing directly from people that are deeply involved in our hobby. This convention does an excellent job of promoting the Tropical fish hobby. We want to also thank all of the supporting businesses and individuals for their help in making this convention possible. I have enjoyed attending both the 2004 and 2006 convention in Laurel, Maryland. We have found by attending these conventions that everyone is like a big family.
I wanted to end on a happy note, that we enjoyed all of you that knocked on our door in 2006 thinking we were the hospitality suite. This minor event allowed us to make many new friends. We can tell anyone that is reading this post that you will greatly enjoy the upcoming All-Aquarium Catfish Convention 2008 .
We would also recommend that you reserve your rooms early, because of the conventions past excellent success the rooms will fill up fast. Check out Potomac Valley Aquarium Society website http://pvas/index.htm for the latest details of the link to the
All-Aquarium Catfish Convention 2008 website.

Very pleased to see a catfish convention in 2008. Especially after raising guppys for 30+ years and becoming addicted to corys and plecos two years ago. Very cool. Oh by the way the convention link does not appear to be working.

That's the best idea I have heard so far. Second is 'make reservations early'. See you at the convention!

Andrew,
How are the arrangements for the convention working out?
The Catfish Study Group's UK event will be upon us in just over a month and is promising to be the best one yet. Once that one is over I shall be preparing for the trip over the pond.

Andrew,
I can't believe we are talking about the 2008 Convention. Time sure is moving quickly. I am putting the dates on my calendar. As always, let me know if I can help in any way.
