I take it you mean the Cory has sunken eyes, this is a sign of either old age or malnutrition. I would suggest changing water 30% - 40% every other day and feed as much live foods as possible.

We buy joined this adolfois and my corys have the same problem. I perceived this today.I had 12, but one die today and has more a cory with the deep eye (i dont understand word "sunken", eye like a inverse of pop, the eye come to inside of head). They came does two weeks from Rio Negro. I gave them artemia live with anti-endoparasites, tetra min pro and tetra bloodworms. I did an exchange of 50% of the water by the morning. It can be worms?
Thanks.

ratocorydora - deep eye? Or do you mean sunken eye? As in the eye ball is 'lowered' into the eye socket?
Does my description matches your observation?
I have encountered sunken eye once and the cories didn't survived. Mine just happened overnight and the next day it died.
Although I'm not too sure, I would think it is also somehow related to internal disease that required immediate action to save it.

Hi. I recently received a dozen Corys, immediately after importation. They all had it as well as being emaciated. Mine all died within 24 hours. Personally, I had never seen the condition, previously. Not a pretty sight. (No pun intended.) - Frank
