According to the Catelog there are pics of fry and juvenile L007s. Is a breeding report coming out on these soon?

i will talk with a friend that has bred a couple different species of the lep's and see if he will put something together for pc. i believe he has done the L-7,264 and something else this past year.

I'm breeding L264, L091, L240 and L241

Keep 3 females and one male. A bigger cave near the current, with bogwood and flat stones... pH aroun 6,4- 7,1 and between 24- 28 C.

Feed with shrimps, fish, catfish wafles and add some vege.

Keep the light low, strong current and regulary waterchages.

The fry are a bit sensetive, so a clean tank is important.

In sweden, people have been breeding L007, L29, L264, L91, L240, and L241. The all seem to have the same need for tank-setup and waterquality.

That's great. What size tank are you guys using? A 125 gallon?

Depending on number of fishes..,but having 1 male and 3 female, I use a aquarium of 400- 500 liters, but I don't know what that is in gallon

400 l = 105 US gal = 88 Imp. gal
500 l = 131 US gal = 111 Imp. gal

hi what size are those cafish that you have breed L264, L091, L240 and L241 .

Hello,

I don't know about the other species, but L264 spawn readily at 4 inches SL. I would expect something closer to 7-8 inches for the others, but have no experience spawning them.
