Catfish SP?

I bought 1 Glass catfish around a year ago and hardly saw this guy after i put him in teh 75g tank and thought he was a goner!
But yesterday i saw him and took some pics.
Just wanted to know what SP is this? and why is his colors like that?
I took these pics last nite with flash.

Kryptopterus macrocephalus


The coloration is usual for this species. There is a striped and a mottled form of the coloration, but I am not sure if the two color forms are interchangeable within the same individual.

Thats good to know because i thought there was something wrong with him since his colors are not like the usual see through cats i have seen!
