My L177 has a problem: since 2 days it does not eat the zucchina and neither the echinodorus any more and by now I noticed that it visibly has the belly swells. From what i can see i also think that he does not produce excrements. What can i do?Intestinal occlusion or internal bacterical attach?

More than likely a case of internal bacterial infection. These aren't easy to treat, unfortunately. Medication in the water generally doesn't get to the intestine, and if the fish isn't eating, "feeding mediction" doesn't work either. But try your LFS to see if they have a "internal bacterial infection" medication. Follow the instructions on the bottle, and check if it's got special instructions for "catfish".

Once in awhile one can get lucky and save a good sized fish such as your L177 by using a needle-less syringe filled with about one half cc solution of the correct antibiotic and a strong dose of VitaChem, rich in B1 vitamin complex. B1 can sometimes stimulate the appetite of animals. At least it does no harm.

Fotunately and probably it only was an occlusion: the fish restarted to eat and the the belly is completely deflated. :D
