Jsut wandering if someone could please post a picture of one of these pleco's up here for me to look at as I think I may have one but have not seen a good enough photo! Also any tips on caring and breeding.

No matter what it looks like, unless you know it's from the Rio Negro, you have no way of knowing its an L165.

I live in Australia where imports are EXTREMELY restricted. We only have half a handful of plecostomus species (bout5 or 6 roughly) that have come in and are still here in Australia. They were brought in about 2/3 yrs ago as L165 and only a few were brought in and were expensive. My freind has some and mine are totally indestinguishable from him. Mine were bought by a rich lady who soughta throws around her money and buys any fish that is expensive. i have bought them off her. So she couldn't remember what they were callled, only that upon hearing L165 and seeing the other person's L165 it rang a bell. They arn't any of the other species of pleco's that are available in Australia so the only option is L165 that were bought in the same time she bought hers and for the same price. I would just like to see a picture for further research. Anybody with a pic or knows a site with a pic please tell me or post it up! Thanks
