Hi
When looking at a profile of a cat i noticed registered keepers at the bottom. I thought what a good idea to help those if they are buying one.
How do you register?
I would like to help if i can.

This is something that I am working on right now. For now, all you can do is register that you are keeping or have kept a particular species and then you can manual contact (pm) other keepers should you wish to.
To do this, you got to that species in the cat-elog and click on the "add to my cats" link. Open to suggestions on how to make that more obvious if it needs to be?
In the future we will do a lot more including the ability to record your own personal comments on a species, contact all owners, record male, females, breeding successes etc.

It would be very helpful to see the person's profile along with their My Cats list. For example, I saw on somebody's list a syno I've been looking for. If they live in the UK I would pm them and ask where they got it. If not, I wouldn't; but I couldn't see a way to check.

OK, I have added that location idea in - they're also linked to Google maps, so if you click on the location you will (depending on spelling and how good the data is) see where in the world it is on a map.
Here is a list of the location of people (other than me) keeping

I added a few notes tonight about S decorus, and H Litorale, and I have to say its an excelent idea, such a good way of having peoples experiances and notes about a species easily accessable without needing to search the forum, very well laid out and easy to use reminds me of my db apps days, never did much net stuff though. Well done and thankyou for your efforts Jools

Glad you like it, as I've said before, there's more planned. If you know db apps, then you've got a third of what is need to build this stuff, the other thirds being HTML and PHP. I'm still learning...
