Hi, I just recently bought 2 of these and read here on the website they are mainly carnivour, should I feed them only bloodworms and brine shrimp or give them some veg and wood too.

Are you sure they are ? That's not exactly the most commonly imported species.

But if we assume they are, then there should be no need for wood (for feeding purposes at least - it may make nice caves tho'). They may graze on the wood for "aufwuchs", i.e. small aquatic animals that grow on the wood.

Vegetable depends on how hungry they are, from what I understand. It won't hurt to plop a bit of veg in there to see if they take it, but don't leave it in there forever if they don't eat it. Anything uneaten after 24 hours should be removed.

Bloodworms and brineshrimp is good food. Also prawns, shrimp, fresh/frozen fish can be fed. Use "saltwater fish", such as cod, rather than freshwater fish, to avoid parasites transferring.

Can't see that unless I register.

Maybe you can post the image on something like Photobucket?

Well it seem it might be an L399, what you think?

Was told about an L173 on aquabid and the price started over £3000 for 6, no way could I pay that, so I think I might have been told the wrong number when I bought it

I don't know for sure. You may be right, it could be L399 - we don't have a picture here at planetcatfish.
