Panda catfish

Post by Shawnm311 »

Does anyone else have any Panda catfish? They have 2 or 3 black dots on them. My fish store said they used to sell for $10 now they are down to about $3 here so my fish store got some in, but only for a limited time. Do they sell these fish in your area?

Yeah, now a days you find them quite often in Petstores here in Denmark as well. But it was rare to find them here just a year ago.

3 $ seems cheap to me though, the price on them here in the stores is app 6 $.

Are these the only cories with this pattern? I've seen a couple with more or less the same markings but a lot whiter in the body. I'll be buying those as soon as I get my tank going anyhow but I'd like to know a bit more about them as well.

Both of my fish stores do this for me, A tip though is to have them get it in with their next shipment rather than paying seperate shipping that way shipping is free. Your lfs might not be able to get them thoug, they can only order them if there breader/supplyer has them or can get them. Before you get these fish make sure you read the catfish of the month article on them, they get big.
