Hi
I am just about to purchase another tank,125litres approx. I would like to stock with (once the tank is matured of course)either L270 or L201 Hypancistrus.I would like a group of 5 of either.Would this size tank be large enough for 5? i hope so, as i know they are only the small size when fully mature.

I would try it. Seems like enough room to me. As they become easy to sex you might want to remove any surplus males if that's how it ends up.

Hmm

i cant speak for the L270, but the L201 would be fine, they are easy going and will start breeding at about 6cm...l would sell you some of mine young cheap if you pick them up in person
