I have mine in a 48x15x15 whilst they grow a bit and in there I have 2 Ehiem Aquaball 2212's which are supposedly 650 litres per hour (although they are probably nowhere near that) and have just added an external Tetratec 700 to the tank as I want to switch to this external filter. I guess there is probably a reasonable amount of current in the tank now and they seem to love it. They do have a decent amount of bog wood to hide in to get out of the current if they want to though.

I am keeping one with my Zebra shovelnose and i find that the Lima stays behind the bog wood more often and anytime it eats it leaves the current. The Zebra seems to "sit" in the current.
