Synodontis Multipunctatus

Post by Rantosa »

I purchased 4 of these guys yesterday. They are all about 10cm. I do not know how old they are, but wanted to know how big do these guys have to be before any breeding results from them. I have read that it maybe 5inches before they start breeding?

Thanx for the link.Whats the minimum size for breeding? Couldn't find an answer relating to their size. I have read most of the forum topics and searched google for articles. They usually state 3-5 years but not a size.

I've had a group of nine (which ended up in nineteen specimen because of successful breeding) and I think yours are large enough to breed.

i had my multi's spawn at asize of 5 inches. i think age is more important than size.(not that they arent hand in hand).
