I bought these guys yesterday, unfortunately one died this morning, but it gave me a chance to take some decent pics. I'm thinking C. melini, davidsandsi, or C016. Help me out please :) The black stripe over the eye connects on both sides, there is no gap.

I vote for C. melini.

Definately not C. davidsandsi.

Hey Frank do you know which of the two (C. melini or C. davidsandsi) are more common?
I have a box of 8 Corydoras davidsandsi on the way so I just want to make sure they
are identified correctly before I send them to a buddy.

Hi. In the past year or so I have seen them offered fairly evenly and priced about the same. - Frank

Well here's what came in my fish box today and they are nicely sized.
I know very little about Corydoras but they seem to be happy and eating.
If you don't mind me asking, Frank is the identification of C. davidsandsi
correct on these? I also wondered about the black spots on this fish?

Hi. That's a nice looking group with a few plump females. I would stick with that ID, but those with much more knowledge than I may offer another call.

Prolly nothing more than random spotting, but a good look with a magnifying glass would help.

Good luck with them. Are they from Bob? - Frank

Yeah they are from (Bob) Aquaman61 and he sent me these also.

Are you jealous yet? LOL!
I was looking at the Cory photos here and the Corydoras metae looks very close?
Maybe another Cory expert will have some input on the ID?

OK thanks Frank and Dave! I have to admit I have no clue about Corydoras identification.

Very nice, but not my cup of tea. Other than my Zebs, I cannot keep those dern things alive. I'm jinxed with them.

That is generally considered the closest looking and most often what they are misID's as. Enjoy them. - Frank
