is this a C. sychri?

Post by stormhawk »

i got this cory in a bag of atropersonatus that my friend managed to purchase for me from a wholesaler. the guy at the farm said it was a special one and managed to catch it and put it into the bag just before he packed it. now i'm wondering as to whether its a C. sychri or is it just another C. atropersonatus. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

looks like C97 to me. This species is often recognized in the aquarium literature as C. sychri, but it is afaik an undescribed species.
