A new pictus- hilarious fish

Hello everyone! I have a new pictus named Molly, she's lovely ^_^ I've had pictus before, but had the unfortunate experience of ending up with a faulty tank shipped to me. Crack under the encasement, the tank exploded in my sleep. By the time I'd awoken and found out what happened, all that remained alive was one dojo loach. Thankfully, I've had the tank thoroughly inspected before accepting it, and then inspected it thoroughly myself! (Though it's kind of hard to find out what's under the encasement, huh?)
Anyway, Molly is currently in a 20 gallon (VERY temporary- I'm upgrading to a 70-75 in about a month)
She's currently getting adjusted, and has established the shroud of over-hanging plants and a piece of bogwood as her home.
Anyway I thought this was a pretty funny story-
I was just drifting off to sleep when something snapped me right out of it. Me being the paranoid person I am, picked up on any sound out of the ordinary in the dark. I kept hearing this strange bark-like grunting, and I was terrified to get up out of my bed. LOL I stayed there for about half an hour, waiting for it to happen again when I realized where it was coming from. I flicked on the aquarium lights and sure enough, it was Molly- she'd found the biggest piece of sinking pellet in the tank, and was letting a greedy Dojo know it was her turn at it.
Strange, I've never heard a Pictus do it yet- what reasons do they do this for?
When I get my 70, I hope to get at least two more- whatever amount is acceptable with what I have.
There is a rainbow shark, two dojos and Molly in the tank- my rainbow, Tanooki, is my oldest fish. He has always been the boss until Molly came to town. He was ambushed in his cave by her- she flew in, and at the feel of her whiskers he came flying out. She chased after him and he hid from her. From then on in he hid behind plants, watching her curiously. Now he hangs out with her, shares food with her, and shares the same caves with her. Pretty nice for a rainbow!
