Google is your 2nd best friend right after the Cat-eLog. Google search returned this,
http://www.tropicalresources.net/phpBB2 ... s_L201.php, that talks about them being carnivores and eating mostly insect larva , shrimp and worms and should be supplemented with dry food to ensure balance.

Hi.
The description of
Hypancistrus inspector included a mention of quantities of seed matter being found in the gut.
It was proposed that this fish was "at least partially granivorous".
I must agree with this, as I feed my
Hypancistrus pumpkin seeds, and they love them.
I also feed: cockle, bloodworm, whiteworm, mysis, krill, hikari algae wafers, colorbits and fava beans.
They really seem to enjoy this varied diet.
You may also be interested to note that in
this post it is mentioned that
H. inspector could be L102 rather than L201.
Hmm

My L201 adults are eating flake and pellets, wont touch blood worm at all.
The fry eat the same and go nuts over newly hatched shrimp
