I was wondering if it is possible. I have seen my orange lazer males doing the T behavior with my female sterbais. Both male and female corys of both species were present. They laid eggs but over half the eggs were lost to fungus, and the eggs that hatched were sterbais. Where are the orange lazer corys from? Are they a wild strain or a strain developed in captivity?
I could would imagine that a croos would be possible, but I think the chances are fairly low. I've had my davidsandsi males trying to convince everything in my stock tank to mate with them without any results at all (thank god for that).
I've had eggs from my green lasers twice, first time all fungused, but this second time 15 eggs hatched.
Best regards,
Kim M
