I purchased over 30 oto cats & 4 panda cory's.I put them in a planted 35 gal. tank, with driftwood & some rock.this tank was loaded with brown algae. One month later it has no algae left, but I am keeping them well fed with wafers, pellets, flake & blanched zuchini.
Many of what I am asuming are females look like they swallowed golfballs they are so round. They are still very active & eating well.Is it possible that I am already seeing females that are full of eggs & there may be some spawning about to happen?
I was also told that it was good to have cory's in with oto's because they help to trigger the spawning of oto's is this correct? If this is about to happen is there any advice anyone can give me to make this as successful as possible?

If you look carefully at the females, can you see the eggs in the lower half of their bellies? They'll look yellow and you can actually see them through their skin. My oto's started spawning WHEN the pandas spawned. They only lay their eggs on the underneath of the leaf. You will also only find small clutches, the most I found from one T'ing was 4 eggs. Incubation is only 2 days, so once you have them spawning, remove the eggs for raising. Pandas will and do eat the eggs, as well as their own eggs when they spawn.

If you need any more info, just let me know.
