Anyone have this paper: Mees, G. F. 1988 (19 Dec.) Notes on the genus Tatia (Pisces, Nematognathi, Auchenipteridae). Proc. K. Ned. Akad. Wet. (Ser. C, Biol. Med. Sci.) v. 91 (no. 4): 405-414.

I think Shane and I collected this fish as we collected it right here: http://www.nmnh.si.edu/cgi-bin/wdb/fish ... ==00258227, although it was described closer to the Orinoco mouth, it does seem quite common in Northern Venezuela.

Yes please, mind you, I'm just going to post the pictures - so we will be able to quantify these fish in or out. If they are close then yes, I would like to check if necessary with the paper. If they are very different then it's back to the drawing board and I will not waste your time with posting it to me.

Thanks,

Jools

Checked the photos against the orginal description. Unmistakeably the same fish.
