I've seen these in a couple of local fish stores. These photos show a sad looking deformed specimen, but better formed individuals are quite attractive when they are small.

I prefer not to purchase hybrids, but I wouldn't characterize them as a crime against nature. If anything, removing large quantities of fish from lakes and streams and placing them into small containers for our enjoyment could be considered a true crime against nature. I have no objection to people creating hybrids, as long as they are labelled as such when they are sold - unfortunately, this is rarely the case.
