Rhino plec

Are rhino plecs rare or hard to come by at all because the manager of my local lfs who just happens to be a friend of mine gave thats right gave me a 6 inch rhino cause no one ever saw it in his display tank. he also had it labled for 59.99 canadian was this a fair price. heres some pics

EDIT for some reason these pics dont show up very big but the ones in my gallery are much better.

G. scrophus is a fairly common loricariid. They are bred in SE Asia and we still see imports of wild specimens from time to time. Others could probably comment on prices in Canada, but I have seen this fish in the U.S. in the $6-8.00 range at slightly smaller sizes than your specimen.
