I guess Jools is going to have some more work to do.

Too bad about Hara. I have a sentimental attachment to the name. The ICZN should require that before ichthyologists sink genera, they should consider popular sentiment.

Nevermind the fact that I`m giving a talk on Indian catfishes in Sweden in the next 24 hours and a sizeable % of my IDs are now "wrong".

The name may be back in another form, since the dwarf species (H. jerdoni and possibly an undescribed Burmese species) might possibly belong to a separate genus.

Just to confuse things, an upcoming reveiw of Hara (of which I am coauthor) maintains the distinctiveness of the two genera.
